Colorado Crossway Women’s Retreat 2008

In 2007, the Crossway Chapel Women’s Retreat was of great encouragement and benefit to many women, yet the Retreat Committee was convinced the Lord wanted to double the amount of women attending to 150 in 2008. After
much prayer and lots of advertising among the three Colorado churches, the Lord showed himself faithful. On the last weekend to register, exactly 150 women had signed up from Windsor, Greeley, and Mountain View.

In late April, the women enjoyed two nights and almost three days at the YMCA in Estes Park. This year’s theme was “Aroma of Sisterhood” and the speaker, Sharon Hersh, encouraged and challenged all the women. Furthermore, the ultimate goal of providing an environment of community and fellowship was well accomplished. Women from three different churches of various ages, stages in lives and backgrounds enjoyed and developed new friendships through playing, discussion time, prayer, and even doing nails and facials. How many will come next year?
